His story began in New York’s financial district, balancing a nine-to-five along with hosting exclusive leisure events for young professionals. Inspired by his wife’s bold decision to move to Thailand, Rafael discovered a deeper truth: the "American Dream" is about thriving on your own terms—anywhere in the world.
After years of exploring, Rafael recognized how the travel industry often excludes BIPOC travelers from luxury experiences. BLUX was born to bridge this gap, offering authentic, inclusive luxury travel through bespoke trips and relocation services.
